Chat can be any kind of communication,
that doesn't have to be over the internet, but we're talking about online chat here now.
There are different kinds of chat: instant messaging like MSN or AIM, IRC chat etc.
Soichat is a mixture of messaging style chat with an online chatroom.
You can use webcam, send files and have 1-on-1 private conversations with eachother.
